We would like to thank Bob and Ann of the Gutter Bookshop, Cow's Lane, Temple Bar, Dublin, for providing Labello Press with the opportunity to hold readings from "Gem Street, The First Collection" last Friday evening, 27th July. We greatly appreciate their gracious welcome and flawless organisation of what proved to be a wonderful event.

It is always great to experience such an enjoyable outcome after all the hard work we invested in creating this opportunity for writers to showcase their work.

To all of the authors out there who have put in the time, expended the energy, and spent the money that it takes to professionally self-publish in print, we take our hats off to you. It's no easy feat, which is why we are so indebted to the independent bookshops that are giving us their fantastic support and encouragement.

Thank you to Brendan Fennessey for travelling a long distance, yet again, to attend and photograph the event. Thanks also to John and Juan. It was great to catch up after all these years and to Tom and Sasha for their ongoing friendship and support in this, and all of our projects.

And thanks to you, Deborah and Paul, for your commitment and efforts in providing opportunities for the 'Gem Street' authors to showcase their work before live audiences.

It was lovely to meet you again, and to listen to the other authors and you read from their work.

So pleased for you that it was yet another successful evening.
