Originally from the USA, Deborah McMenamy came to live in Ireland in 1995.
Her award-winning story Love, Like Stew has been published in the anthology Best New Writing 2011 and was nominated for the 2011 Pushcart Prize in the U.S.
She was short-listed for the Dublin Review of Books 2011 Flash Fiction Competition.
She has co-written and submitted a comedy series for American Television and is currently working on a short film series.
She writes an eclectic perspective of life on an Irish country road www.TheBoreen.com which was nominated for the Irish Blog Awards 2011.
As a playwright she wrote, directed, and produced many children’s musical dramas, including Pimlico Chase and The Smallest Biggest Difference, which was performed at The Excel Theatre in Tipperary.
A former business columnist for The Kilkenny People and freelance business writer, she has worked as a public speaker on the topics of Innovative Business Development and Creative Thinking.
She holds a degree in Advertising Design and honed her fiction writing skills by studying and attending Creative Writing Masterclasses in London.
A collection of her short stories So Long Polyester will be published in 2013 by Labello Press.

Paul McMenamy has been an avid reader since childhood. He holds an MBA and is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (London).
For over 20 years he has worked with companies through his consultancy www.NovaInnovative.com helping them to develop all aspects of their business including their Communication and Sales strategies.
As the creator and presenter of practical and highly effective training programmes, he has worked extensively as a public speaker, mentor and facilitator.
He was a member of Toastmasters International for many years.
